Privacy Policy — Gym Buddies

This privacy policy explains how Gym Buddies (“the App”) handles information when you use the mobile game on Android.

1. Summary

Gym Buddies is a casual endless arcade game. We do not require you to create an account to play. The App may show rewarded ads and may collect limited analytics and crash data to improve stability and understand how the game is used.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

• You may share a score card image via your device’s system share sheet. We do not operate our own servers for that content; sharing uses apps you choose (e.g. messaging, social).
• Optional Google Play Games features (leaderboards / cloud bests), if enabled later, use your Google Play Games profile when you sign in through Google’s services.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Depending on your device settings and Google services, the App and its partners may process:

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as precise health records, government IDs, or payment card numbers) through the App. In-game “gym” theme is fictional entertainment, not health tracking.

2.3 Local data on your device

Progress such as high scores, unlocks, settings (sound, haptics), and mission state is stored locally on your device (app preferences). Uninstalling the App typically deletes this local data.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Run core game features (progress, settings, optional continue-after-ad)
• Show rewarded advertisements
• Measure aggregate usage and performance
• Diagnose crashes and improve stability
• Comply with platform policies (Google Play, Google AdMob, Firebase)

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob to show rewarded video ads (for example, a “second chance” after a run ends). AdMob and its partners may use advertising identifiers and similar technologies as described in Google’s policies.

5. Analytics and crash reporting (Google Firebase)

The App uses Google Firebase:

• Firebase Analytics — app usage events (e.g. run start/end, navigation)
• Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports and diagnostic logs

6. Google Play services

If you use optional Play Games features (when enabled), Google processes related data under Google Play’s terms. Local leaderboards and bests work without online Play Games.

7. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information.

We use service providers that process data on our behalf or as independent controllers for ads/analytics, primarily:

• Google (AdMob, Firebase, Play services)

These providers may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

8. Data retention

• Local game data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall.
• Analytics and crash data are retained according to Google Firebase / AdMob retention settings and policies (typically aggregate or diagnostic form for a limited period).
• We do not maintain a separate user account database for Gym Buddies.

9. Children’s privacy

Gym Buddies is a general audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information through the App, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it where applicable.

Parents and guardians should supervise device use and Google account / ad settings for minors.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to object to certain processing.

• Device: clear app storage, reset advertising ID, or uninstall the App.
• Ads: use Android ad personalization controls.

For data processed by Google (AdMob / Firebase), you may also use tools and settings provided by Google.

European Economic Area / UK users may have additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR. California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not “sell” personal information in the conventional sense. Contact us with questions.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a small mobile game (including using reputable SDKs such as Google’s). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

12. International transfers

If you use the App outside the country where Google or we process data, your information may be transferred internationally. Where required, appropriate safeguards apply as provided by our service providers.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy, where permitted by law.
